Wellllll, November was the roughest month for my booth. I sold about $10 over my booth fee, but after they took commission, I ended up owing money, which is very disappointing!
I'm trying not to let it get me down and instead I'm focusing on bringing in Christmas items and staging items in cute vignettes. I probably need to re-arrange. I really, really want to sell the dining table - I have it marked down to $50. I think once I move that, it will open up some major rearranging possibilities in my booth.
Here are some recent photos!
Any experienced folks out there have any advice or suggestions on staging or making my booth successful in December? I'm all ears!

no advice from me. This was my best month at my booth. (still not fabulous, but I'm okay with it)
ReplyDeleteagain, I have to say--great pics! Your booth looks fabulous.

I am the last person To give advise. I lost money on my booth. I finely moved out, on the advise of one the employees no less!!!! Booth fees to much.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with yours.
Not sure of any advice, because I think your booth looks wonderful! I'd buy those globes straight away! ;) We just opened ours, November was our first month, and it was a great success! Chris is really good with keeping it fresh, he moves things around, puts new items in, takes old items out, every 4-5 days. Also, the last week of the month, we put up a sign that everything is 25% (I contributed my photoshop skills!). That helped, we sold quite a few items that way. Does your Tennessee Mall let you do that?
ReplyDelete*I meant 25% off.
ReplyDeleteOn another note: Chris wants me to ask you about Antique Archology. Do you watch American PIckers? They supposedly are opening a shop in Nashville.
Hi Jamie,
ReplyDeletethe booth looks great! I bet December will be fabulous for you! I like the % off idea, bc that always draws me into a booth...I'm a sap for a sale!
thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment! :)
No hints for selling more, but were I walking through I would come in and look because everything is visually appealing. :)
ReplyDeleteHope December is a great month for you!
Sure hope December is a good month for you too. You find many one of kind things. I would love a retro gift. There have got to be others like us out there.
