Extreme Thrifting!

You won't believe the insane amount of stuff I brought back to Nashville! Do you like my blog title - a play on "extreme couponing?" :)

I went home to Louisville to visit my family and thrift, thrift, thrift! My mom had found some items for me and those are included in the photos below but the majority was found while shopping Saturday and Sunday in south Louisville! I had amazing luck! My booth will be stocked all fall, I think!

Check out the photos below! I set everything up in my living room - it looked like Christmas when Santa brings unwrapped gifts! Ahhh!!

I cleaned and priced everything and loaded it back into the car! I will be busting these items out at the Tennessee Antique Mall this month!

What did you find this weekend? I hope you were successful in your treasure hunting! :)

  1. Hey girl! I still can't believe you got all of that IN your car! That's crazy. You must have been a busy bee to get it all cleaned, priced and BACK in your car!

  2. What a great haul you have there. My mom has 2 golden colored pillows just like that teal one you found. My grandmother made them for her, I think. They must be 40 years old.

  6. You hit the jackpot. I got turquoise Samsonite luggage for my High School graduation present. The red piece reminded me of that. I bet you had a great time finding all this too.

  10. How much are you selling the fan for?

Never see fans in the thrift shops - they always keep them for themselves. I am heading to an antique market this weekend with plans of buying to metal fans. They sell them there for $20 a piece. It's my only option. Will NEVER find one in a thrift. Is $20 reasonable do you think?

This haul is amazing, btw. Such great stuff! What's that metal owl sign?

  14. Wow, love the extreme thrifting results!! :) Looks like I should venture down to South Louisville a little more often (I'm near Highlands/GT and end up north more often than not due to work). I am heading down to Nashville later this month for a little R & R and will definitely be checking out the TN Antiques Mall!

  18. That is definitely extreme thrifting. I live outside of Louisville, and sometimes when I visit my dad in Atlanta I'll thrift the whole time I'm there, and then on the way home thrift all the way from Georgia to Kentucky. I'm sure people think I must live in my car with all the bags I pile up! Thanks for joining in the link party!
