Slow-lene


The above video is a recording of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" 45 played at 33rpm. It's such a beautiful song but slowed down, it's even more haunting! People are so clever to experiment with music like this. Enjoy!!

    my boyfriend showed me this the other day. I was slightly obsessed, because I love the original so much. It's haunting as it is, but slowed down it modernizes it and makes it...well...extra haunting.

    Interesting! I love that song! It was one of the first songs we played on our little vintage Decca when we got it back from being repaired by Vintage Hi Fi. :)
