Favorite Finds: Alyssa's Desk

Alyssa and I share a common bond - a love of vintage! I met her at Making Merry in Berry Hill last year - my very first fair/market! She has been super supportive of Owl Really ever since, which I so appreciate!

Alyssa recently got married (congrats!!) and has started a new business, Violet and Vow, in which brides can rent vintage-inspired wedding decor. Such a great idea! She is also blogging alongside her husband about what it's like to be a married couple separated by the road (a very common situaton in Nashville).

Below, Alyssa shares about her flea-market-find desk!

This is my vintage desk I bought from the Nashville Flea Market! This is the original state I bought it in- no paint needed! I love the white and mint green. I kept the little scratches on it because I thought they made the piece unique. I bought it for only $30!

Letting me loose at the Nashville Flea Market is dangerous... you never know what I will bring home! I think my husband is used to getting calls from me asking to use the "band's van" (he's a tour manager) to come and pick up some vintage furniture for me. Both of us have little Hondas that can't transport very much... Haha!

Right now I use this desk as my vanity- I have my little makeup mirror sitting on it and sit at it to get ready every morning. I love it!

What a great find, Alyssa! Thanks so much for sharing!

If you would like to be considered for Favorite Finds, email me a photo of the item you would choose as your Favorite Find and a little bit about it.
