I debated on buying these owl napkin rings because they were SO tarnished. At the end of the day, I knew I couldn't pass up 8 brass owl napkin rings, so I took my chance on them!
I picked up some Brasso for less than $3 at the grocery store then wore gloves on my hands as I spent a good chunk of an afternoon polishing them up.

I used an old toothbrush to get into the crevices of the eyes. They turned out so much better than I thought they could!

I sold 4 of them at the flea market and the other 4 are available in my booth at the Tennessee Antique Mall!

I would buy cloth napkins just to use those, they are super cool! Or because I'm lazy and I hate laundry, I would roll up some paper towels...
ReplyDeleteThose are a great find! And a spectacular shining up :-)
